Ecowec hybrid exchangers recover heat from the hotel’s shower water as well as laundry and restaurant wash water. Two Ecowec hybrid exchangers are connected to one heat pump, which recycles the heat contained in the wastewater back to the heating of the property and domestic hot water. Wastewater heat significantly reduces the purchase of district heating energy and carbon dioxide emissions. The system is maintenance-free and the service person only performs annual inspections once a year.
